Ethiopia is truly a land of discovery. Various antropologists as well as Ethiopians believe that it is the cradle of man kind. They say that Lucy, the 3.2 million years old fossil which was discovered in Hadar of The Afar Region is the mother of human beings. Ethiopia is also a beautiful country of 83 ethnic groups. These groups have their own language,cultures and ways of life. The total population of Ethiopia is over 80 million. The Semitic language of Ethiopia is related to both Hebrew and Arabic. Ethiopian People wear too many different types of clothes, the very known traditional cloth is called (ye Habesha lebse ) a white woven cotton costume usually worn for festivals and holidays. People from different places wear different costumes that reflect their own tradition,and this makes Ethiopians attractive and colorful when seen together. Ethiopia has it's own calendar of 13 months. The capital city is called Addis Ababa a place where many beautiful, young and lovable people are found. A community where people live respecting each other so friendly with kind and respectful attitudes. Mostly people invites each other for social gathering. The main religions in Ethiopia are Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Paganism. The majority people are christian followers.
